Not only quiet in the summer, but also in the winter I'm afraid.
(Just checking here, from time to time)

It has been some time, but I'm back. Liandra told me there was a lot of activity going on here. That's great!

You should! ;D No, really. I liked NS very much. It has a lot of action and new things in it (and old things, seen from a new point of view). Anyway, if you like The Wheel of Time, you really should read it. (Am I starting to sound like Emma yet? ;D )

I know. That's because I kinda ripped them off from Leander's site. And as you probably know, his site has been down for a few weeks now. [edit] I just changed the smileys. Unfortunately, because of that in some of the earlier posts smileys have changed... Well... that's just too bad, for I'm not going to change them back again. [/edit]

I just returned from my holiday in the Czech Republic and guess what I bought there... A Czech version of (the second half of) A Crown of Swords! Of course, I cannot read the Czech language, so it's perhaps kinda stupid to buy a Czech book. But I also have a German and a French Wheel of Time book (and of course all the Dutch and English versions, which means I now have WoT in five different languages...) But anyway, I opened it at a random page and though I cannot read it, I immediately knew which part of the book (which sentence, actually!) I was reading... (Oh my ***, I am addicted, I know the entire book by heart! (which, by the way, is of course not true... just some parts of the book)) Perhaps you'll know as well. This was the part (by the way, if any of you do speak Czech, my computer doesn't seem to type the ^s and other accents at some of the words, so I'll just leave them out.): Anyone care to guess?

I am back from my holiday to Wales. A really amazing country, great countryside, with lakes, mountains, steep rocky coasts, great castles and of ruines of abbeys and priories and so on. In the Flag of Wales a red dragon is depicted. I bought such a dragon carved out of Welsh Coal. Truly amazing what people can do with a piece of coal. www.flags.net/elements/gif_flags/WALE001.GIFI will try to photograph the dragon, which will be quite difficult I think. All the pictures still need to be sorted (the digital ones - 300 of them) and developed (the films - 12 of them), so pictures will come latrer. I do have one picture of Conwy castle for the impatient ones. It's a panarama photo (made by stitching together three separate photo's) www.ziburan.nl/fotos/vakantie/vakantie%20wales%202004/Panorama%20Conwy%20castle1.jpgAll in all, definately a country to revisit in the future! Next year we are probably going to Ireland (which will be my second visit there). Oh, and I will not guess, I only recognise the first word.

Oh wow! That is an absolutely beautiful place! I have always wanted to visit Europe and see all the castles. My husband and I just got back from a Caribbean cruise which was nice though. On many of our shore excursions, I managed my hip-length hair in a single, thick Nyn type braid.
