... about EOTW.
I don't have my book with me in my current apartment, and my memory is a little rusty.
At the end of the book in the eye of the world, Nynaeve gets pretty trussed up by Aginor, right? So much so that she falls 'lifeless' to the ground like a pile of 'rags'.
But when Rand sees her again she's completely fine. Moiraine couldn't have healed her as she wouldn't have the strength.
Is it because Rand used balefire so she was never harmed in the first place?
A clue please!

I'm not sure. I don't think Rand used balefire, as I think we would have gotten a clue if he did. Anyway, wouldn't Moiraine have told him what he did - if he did use balefire - and told him never to use it again (as she did later on in the books)?
Rand was knocked out for a while, right, after he fought Ba'alzamon (not sure if I spelled that correct)? Perhaps Moiraine recovered while he was unconsious (sp?) and healed Nynaeve.
Or perhaps all that happened to Nynaeve was her being knocked unconsious (though, the wording there seems to suggest otherwise, I supose). She could have woken up, while Rand was still unconsious.

My thought has always been that Moiraine healed her after the whole battle thingy. It is also possible that the bed of leaves that she fell on had some medicinal magical healing properties.

Aginor caught her by the back of the jaw, which has the nerve center for the spinal cord...she became unconcious...but not really hurt...maybe a bruise or two...it was Lan that was hurt and he was not healed when Rand came back...Moiraine was in such bad shape she could not Channel for several days...

Nynaeve was walking slowly with a slight limp and told Rand that she was alright with just a few bruises...
But the truth is a lot of things in the books do not quite jibe...so Jordan was a little slapdash on occasion...I have accepted this because {The Wheel Of Time} is such a monumental work...and there are mistakes in all multibook series...even in The Lord Of The Ring...
