I was just wandering around the Internet trying to figure out how to promote the Wheel of Time MUD, www.wotmud.org, when I found your site. On our MUD you can fight for the light, dark or Seanchen sides. You can play as a warrior, hunter, rogue or channeler. Female channelers can join the White Tower and male channelers usually don't survive very long unless the player is very good. It's a challenging game. Players fight against each other, but also team up to fight non-player characters. If you get ripped (killed) you lose your equipment and sometimes a level of experience, but often someone will help you back on your feet. Or perhaps a darkfriend will stab you in the back as you try to recover your equipment lost in a battle against trollocs. Aes Sedai, as I am sure some of you might be interested in, have a major advantage over other players. They can channel; they can bond warders; they can use sa'angreal and they have by far the most powerful "clan" in the game. I will warn you: The game is text based and requires imagination and the ability to communicate with others through text. If you have a few minutes come check us out some time. Bannerman Vladi M'Shar, Seandari Imperial Guard

I think a lot of the problem is that it has been over 20 years since the start of the Wheel Of Time some of the most avid fans now have grown children that are going to college...they are working every day to keep from starving...so don't come to sites like they did when they were in college....

This is a very solid question since the new book is going on the bookshelves in less than three weeks...and book 13 is over half written according to Brian Sanderson...
