It seems very much like The Eye Of The World..in the Borderlands even though it is a normal spring something is rotten...none of the crops are growing...seed put in the ground will not sprout...starvation time I believe...food running out, rotting no new food...
about 20% of the people in the world have become evil and the rest are preparing for the Last Battle...no one is staying home they are following Lan...the uncrowned king...The whole world is restive...gangs on the streets of TarValon garbage and sewage over running the system of pipes and conduits...
