Hey, don't get me wrong...Kate Winslet is one of my favorite actresses. She might be able to play Nynaeve, but I don't want to say that because EVERYBODY says that...see? Besides, I think she'd more appreciate an edgier role, like Berelain or Morgase or Graendel...still trying to find the perfect WoT Kate Winslet role.
Helena Bonham Carter is also an amazing actress...I'm SO TOTALLY STOKED that she is currently working on not one, but TWO movies with Johnny Depp and Tim Burton. She's perfect for Tim Burton movies, as she's so delicate-looking, but also has a dark feel to her --perfect for an Aes Sedai as well.
Random fact: both of the above mentioned Nynave candidates have played Ophelia in Hamlet [Winslet in 1996, with Kenneth Branagh and Bonham-Carter in 1990, with Mel Gibson]...a very not-Nynaeve-like character, but an incredibly difficult one to play.

Well, so am I. I'm just more sarcastic, as opposed to your inate niceness.
As you've probably figured out, I'm not a Hollywood producer of any sort and therefore do not have the power to cast any of these people in the designated roles.

*laughs, then barks at her secretary, "Get me Stephen Spielburg on the phone! ...I don't care if he's in a meeting: I need to speak to him about the new budget development! And WHERE IS Sir Ian McKellen? He was supposed to be here to discuss a role 3 minutes ago! Does he think I have 3 minutes to just sit around and WAIT for him?"*

:DRose Byrne might be able to play Nynaeve --excect she seems to "sweet" --anyway, she's not an incredibly well-known actress, but what I've seen of her was very good. Her character, Dorme, Padme's handmaiden, doesn't really do anything in StarWars Episode II, but her character, Briseis, stole the show in Troy. She's also in Wicker Park, which I haven't seen. >:(Oh yes, and I do realize I am killing this topic.

LMAO...all these actresses are now 5 years older and could not play any of the girls...although Kate Winslet could probably play Suian as a 44 year old Amyrlin seat...
The 7 young women in the books, yes I include Nynaeve, Avi, Min, Faile and Tuon...
Tuon would have to be played by a very petite black actress...
we need both a tall brunette, a very tall red head and a tall blond...whew...this gets complicated but wigs and hair dye will help...
They need to be unknown just like the actors in the first Star Wars...
