Oh I forgot to tell that I have one brother, he's 20 and he doesn't read and he has red hair:) Only he is not like rand or an aiel:)
And Hammer: You aren't even that old:) Frenzy and I know an older theoryland member. Oh and how is the story of manetheren in the audio version???
I have WH in audio, and I do like, although I have only listened to it twice.
bye isabel

Do not get the abridged version of the audio books.
They are the ones that are narrated by Mark Rolston...
The unabridged versions are narrated by Michael Kramer and Kate Reading....
Kate does a fantastic job as Nynaeve....
The abridged version of {Lord of Chaos} is 6 hours\ the unabridged is 45 hours...
Do you mean when Moiraine told the story of Menatheran in {tEotW} Kramer did a fine job of it, it was Rand's POV but Kramer is good at imitating a female voice... You should listen to his version of Lanfear...
Kate had to do Loial in CoT and she had a real hard time with it... Kramer has a High/Bass voice so he really does a good job of Loial.... and Perrin also.....
Kate does a good job of Rand when she has to do his voice...

You are right about the abriged version. It really ****s! My boyfriend bought the abriged audio version of tEotW about a year ago. It was such a dissapointment! All the interesting plot lines are deleted! No Lan & Nynaeve... I wish I could get the "normal" version, though...

Hi everybody,
My name is Sander and I'm also from the Netherlands. I'm 22, have one younger brother (18) and two parents. Isabel/Emma already knows me, we met a few times, and Frenzy and I are also acquinted through Theoryland and the Twin Towers.
I'm studying Music the upcoming schoolyear and will apply for the Conservatory of Amsterdam next spring.
As for WoT; I got a book for my birthday (21) from one of my best friends, and read the rest of the series without a pause.
So here I am. And "Nynaeve Rulez" of course ;D

ive heard portions of all the books in audio tape, considering how i got into the books was a loooooonnnggggg time ago from my dad. i was sitting in his car, he was driving, had a tape on in the car, i listend, bur stopped the tape evry five seconds to ask things flike...whos egwene? whats an aiel? after numerous questions my dad told me to shut up and listen to the book. so i did, didnt understand alot but i liked it
anyways thats not the point, the audio books are very good if you listen to the unabridged the abridged is terrible.

Hello, I am the Creator, or at least that's my nickname. I live in Southern U.S.A. and have read all the books. I have been reading the forum for a while, but have never joined until now because my computor was on the blink and I didn't trust it enough to post, but it's been fixed and I hope I'll become an active member of the forum. I plan to be posting on some of the threads if anyone is interested. Well, thanks for reading, I'll end my long-winded intro now by saying it's nice to be a part of your forum.

Hello everyone! I'm a 17-year-old girl from Norway, or more precisely, the northern of Norway. I have a brother who's 14 and a sister who's married and going on 23. My parents...eh...you don't need to know anything about them... I love the WoT series and have read all the books (1-8 in Norwegian and 8-10 in English). Nynaeve and Lan is of course my favorites!! ;D (BTW, CoT was, in my opinion, a big disappointment. I wonder what exactly RJ was thinking when he wrote this... Anyways, back to the get-to-know-me-stuff. I'm in my first year of senior high school, and I can already say that school sucks. I can't wait for summer break! I love to read, write, listen to music, play the piano, and be with friends. I dream to one day become a writer, but each day I think that what I'm really going to be, is a teacher... Well, I don't know what else to say, so I'll just leave it for now. Au revoir!

Yeah, I never seem to escape them... Well, I can secretely tell you that I've finished the prologue and parts of chapters 1 through 3. However, I won't post anything before I've finished at least chapter 2. P.S. I really hope the next book will be better than CoT, and have more Nyn/Lan interaction, or else I don't know what I do. Which reminds me, I have to read New Spring when it comes here to Norway. *waiting excitingly*

awright! keep on updating!
as of CoT my theory is that every book where nyn doesnt have much about her, is followed by one with lots of nyn action. such as PoD and then WH. and tEotW and then tGH. and tDR had almost none of her POV's and tSR had alot of them. i also want to see the confrontatoin between lan and slayer soon.

Hello, y'all, my name is Jen. I'm 14 years old (which means I'm a minor-niner at school! ) and I think Nynaeve & Perrin are the best characters in the WoT! Of course, I'm only 9 chapters away from finishing the Eye of the World, so I haven't met a tenth of the characters in the series! But anyway, I'm from Canada (perhaps the only one here from Can?), and I have a pet polar bear.
