Just curious... where do you all come from?
I am from the Netherlands. I live in Zaandam, which is very close to Amsterdam (as must every place in Holland seem to be to foreigners - though Zaandam is really very close to Amsterdam).

Where do we all come from? Where do we all go? I'm from the Netherlands as well. I live in Reeuwijk, which is close to Rotterdam. In the weekends, I most often live in Zaandam, which is very close to... Ah, you already knew that, didn't you?

I live in The Hague (Den Haag) in the west of The Netherlands. In the province of South Holland. Shandy, I was in Scotland in 1991 in July and August for 23 days, and got a nice tan there. ;D Only 1 day with only rain, for the rest of the days mainly sunny with a couple of showers. The last day at Glasgow Airport was horrible, black skies, lots of rain and wind, not a pleasant journey home, and delayed for 3 hours. But the holiday was great!

I was in Scotland about five years ago. It did rain a lot, but I thought it a very beautiful country. Very fantasy-like. Too bad you need to go by (an expensive) boat, else I would definately visit the United Kingdom more often.

I have been to the UK about 8 or 9 times now I think. And once to Ireland, which is also very beautiful.

I live only 180 KM from Robert Jordan... LOL! In the Netherlands, we consider that a great distance! In the United States, it must be almost like being neighbours! ;D
